  19. Version 1.1.11 of Kermit 95 for Windows 95 and Windows NT is now available
  20. as a patch to versions 1.1.7, 1.1.8, 1.1.9, or 1.1.10.  This release
  21. includes a few minor changes from 1.1.10:

  23.  . A couple minor bugs fixed.
  24.  . Data General D217 terminal emulation added (with printer support).
  25.  . Megahertz Xjack and "generic-high-speed" modem types added.
  26.  . An improved version of K95CINIT (for PCMCIA and Plug-n-Play modems).

  28. Plus some new commands allowing greater flexibility in configuring your
  29. Kermit and ZMODEM downloads -- especially when they might conflict with 
  30. the type of terminal you are emulating (especially DG and Wyse).

  32. Version 1.1.11 is also the first release of Kermit 95 that is available for
  33. IBM's OS/2 operating system -- which is the main reason for this release.
  34. The OS/2 announcement will be posted separately.

  36. HOW TO GET IT

  38. The new Windows 95/NT release is available as a patch to version 1.1.10 or
  39. earlier.  Current registered users of Kermit 95 can download the 1.1.10
  40. upgrade patch from our BBS or from our ftp site:

  48. All the new features are documented in the updated UPDATES.TXT file that
  49. comes in the patch, and in the updated BUGS.TXT file.  (By the way, note
  50. that all .DOC files have been renamed to .TXT, to avoid improper association
  51. with Microsoft Word.)
